Bio
Following a twenty-five year career in direct social work practice and administration, Dr. Roberts taught at a small southwestern Virginia university, then served as a research scientist on a federal grant project studying behavioral interventions for dementia patients. Returning to southwest Florida to teach at USF, her research and practice interests emphasize the patient-practitioner health care relationship, elder abuse and neglect, and attitudes toward aging.
