CONN SCHOLAR PROGRAM UPDATE The School of Social Work is scheduled to receive official notification regarding the continuation of the Conn Scholar program by June 1, 2008. Pending available funding for Fall 2008, interested students may begin to apply for Fall 2008 scholarships at this time.

Conn Social Work Scholars
The CONN Foundation awards grants and scholarships to improve education for and service to Hillsborough County Youth

To be eligible

  • Current BSW or MSW in good standing.
  • Accepted a field placement in Hillsborough County serving children & their families.
  • Have financial need.
  • Have a willingness to particpate in supervision beyond weekly field instructor supervision mentorship by USF faculty members.

To apply for a Conn Social Work Scholar Award:

  1. Submit the CONN Inquiry form
  2. Complete a Candidate Application and submit by stated deadline.
  3. If you qualify as a student dedicated to a field placement and eventual employment in Hillsborough County working in a community-based agency with children and family
    programming
